I know this year isn't over yet, but man has it been an emotional roller coaster. With my dog passing away in September and my grandma being sick, it has been wild. Oh, Adventure Time which is one of my all time favorite shows also ended that year as well. I also haven't posted anything on dA in so long on top of it (the last time I posted was in April which was a loooong time ago), but hey whatever happens in life is more important. At least it wasn't as bad as 2016, 2014 and 2012 since those years were super violent. Here's hoping for 2019 to treat me well.

Looks like the inactivity got the best of me. It's because, well I've been dealing with life shit and all. In mid-September which was last month, my childhood dog of 12 years, Missy passed away suddenly (I'm thinking from a heart attack) which was a shock. We buried her in our backyard and we're currently making a headstone for her. Also, my grandma (my mom's mother) has been feeling super sick as of late. Praying that she gets better. So yeah, life has been an emotional rollercoaster for me this year.

Tonight is the final episode of Adventure Time which is airing at 6PM titled Come Along With Me. Man, I'm so not ready for my favorite show to end. Over the years, I've drawn fan art of the show (mostly Jake since he has always been my favorite character) on here and Tumblr. My very first drawing of Jake was back in 2011 when I was 17. I used to also make journals about the episodes when they came out, but I stopped doing it when the show was either in its sixth or seventh season since I lost interest in making those journals. The first episode of Adventure Time I watched was Ocean of Fear when it had just came out in June of 2010. It's funny because I didn't know about the show when it came out on April of the same year until I came across that episode. There were a few episodes that were terrible (I'm looking at you Water Park Prank), but it was a great show.

It has helped me a lot as did Jake and I'm going to miss the shit out of the series. I also knew a lot of online friends and friends I know personally who watched the show. I still have a lot of AT merchandise that I've owned over the years even though I got rid of a few old shirts that were too big on me.

Cartoon Network won't be the same without the series, but thank Glob there's Summer Camp Island, OK K.O., Steven Universe, and lots more. Goodbyes aren't always forever.

The Adventure Time series finale will be airing on September 3rd at 6PM.

Boy, it's going to be a bittersweet day. It had a good 8-year run. I still miss Regular Show when it ended and now I will miss this show. At least I'll have Summer Camp Island to watch.

It's been two months since I last posted a journal. Anyway, I've been pretty busy with my life because, well I've been having an ILS (Independent Living Skills) worker come over at my house every Tuesday and Thursday at 10AM to help me with life stuff (i.e. counting money, cooking, you name it!) and every Wednesday at 2PM, I've been going to job club so I can finally start working again (It's been over a year since I've actually had a job). 

So yeah, here's my update on how I've been doing with life. This week, I'll be going to Tahoe with my sister and fiancee. I've actually never been to that place, so it'll be my first time going there.
